We study the Gospel of John.
In the Gospel of John, the claims of Jesus are set forth in seven major "I AM's". John stresses the personal relation and interest of Jesus to men:
1. "I am the bread of life.
He who comes to me will never be in need of food, and he who has faith in me will never be in need of drink." (John 06: 35)
2. "I am the light of the world;
he who comes with me will not be walking in the dark but will have the light of life." (John 08: 12)
"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." (John 09: 05)
3. "I am the door of the sheep."
"Truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep." (John 10: 07)
4. "I am the good shepherd."
"I am the good keeper of sheep: the good keeper gives his life for the sheep." (John 10: 11)
" I am the good keeper; I have knowledge of my sheep, and they have knowledge of me." (John 10: 14)
5. "I am the resurrection, and the life:
he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." (John 11: 25)
6. "I am the way, the truth and the life:
no man comes unto the Father, but by me." (John 14: 06)
7. "I am the true vine,
and my Father is the husbandman." (John 15.01)
